Today I finally caught onto the fact that I don't know what's happening in my course, and I also don't catch on whether I pay attention or not, so instead of bringing my usual paper and pen I brought a laptop so that I could work on my final reflection for the UW program. I got a bit done, but I also checked back in with the course every now and then, and thank goodness I did because our group for small discussion had to present and no one would do it except me. After class we made our usual trip to Bush House, but the food was all completely repulsive so we walked back towards the dorm and got some delicious burgers from The Charlotte, a nearby pub. We stayed for a few hours just sitting and talking and then split ways and went home. After a few hours sort of resting and sort of continuing to work on my reflection I went back out to Tower Hill for a free Jack the Ripper walking tour! The tour guide was awesome, very funny and knowledgeable, and it was really cool to walk to places where some of the buildings and cobblestones are they same as they were in the 1800s when Jack the Ripper was still committing murders. I gave our guide a big tip, since he otherwise makes no money off of this tour. Tomorrow we were supposed to get tea at the lavender fields, but we are postponing because some people are still stuck in Amsterdam!
