I got a late start the second day, but I think the extra sleep was probably good for me. After I got ready, I took a tram and walked down to the tourism office to get a printed ticket for a bus tour I had scheduled, and then caught the bus to go to the Guinness Storehouse. I saw a few sites before we arrived, but I didn't stop anywhere to walk around. At Guinness I walked through the process of making their beer, and also a bit of the history. On the fourth floor I took a class about how to pour the perfect pint (hold the glass at a 45-degree angle, pull the lever forward, wait for the beer to reach the bottom of the Guinness logo and then stop, wait 90 seconds for it to settle, and then top it off by pushing the lever backwards), and then took my drink to their Gravity Bar to enjoy. The Gravity Bar has a 360-degree view of the city, so it was really beautiful to sit there while I sipped my beer! After that I got back on the bus and continued the tour for a while. Due to the cold and some terrible traffic, I decided to exit the tour before it was totally over and go find some dinner. I decided on eating at The Auld Dubliner because of their amazing live music and appealing menu, and I chose the beef stew (cooked with Guinness) and mashed potatoes. Delicious! After dinner I got tired and went back to the hotel to rest up before a big tour tomorrow.
